Electronics can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new electronics should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. Rarely work and not the greatest sound quality

Conner Dewey 5/21/2020

I bought mine with my Note 10+. The first month they worked fine. But after a while they started getting weaker sound and became unreliable after being charged. Sometimes they simply refuse to turn on after being charged, which is super frustrating. I know they are charging as the light comes on when they are being charged. Waste of money. Much better products for this price.

No sweat problems

2121 11/4/2019

Had for a few months, came with s10e. Power button sticks, I had to press and hold extra hard to turn on and off. One of the ear phones popped open and I had to glue it back. Just recently crapped on me, not charging anymore.

Came with my Galaxy phone but they are awful

Ralph 10/19/2019

I all around hate with these headphones. They don't fit correctly in my ears and they fall out when I walk. The worst part is that I cannot even use them to talk on the phone. Every one I converse with tells me they hear a clicking sound while I'm talking to them. My wife says it sounds like morse code. I can't believe that Samsung has the audacity to charge $150 for them. The sound is ok, though but that is it.

Worst wireless earbuds I have ever used.

Mikevipe 8/23/2019

They title says it all. Asking $150 for these?! I wouldn't pay over $20. The build quality is terrible, the usb cover wont even stay closed and catches your collar Everytime you move your head. Did they even test these? The sound crackles consistently every time oty loses connection and even when it is connected, the left earbud has a very quiet crackling noise. The buttons are flimsy and look as if the controls will fall apart. The button to turn on works sometimes. If Samsung keeps up with this build quality then I will seriously just start buying elsewhere.

Lousy quality. Bad service.

bsbruce 8/13/2019

Left side stopped working with horrible static after 2 months and hardly any use. When clicking the samsung link for support and going through the entire process with them I was then told I need to contact AKG. Waste of time. Waste of money. Do yourself a favor and don't consider this. I only bought these because of the phone rebate and it wasn't worth the aggravation.

QC fail ?

311Love 4/15/2019

I've always raved about AKG until now. I wonder if this current order passed QC because on 1st use I heard a loud, uncomfortable crack sound. Only happened once but then realized it happens once, every time I press play. I'm beginning the process of returning them, but do love the quality and style non-the-less, and will try once more. Should the 2nd pair fair well, I will promptly update this review.

Good Sound Terrible Design & Features

SteveBoroughz 4/9/2019

Pros: Decent Sound Cons: 1) not even slightly sweat proof 2) Poor UBS flap design, doesnt close 3) Poor Bluetooth stack, only pairs/remembers with a single device 4) No App to customize/manage 5) Expensive 6) Convoluted servicing/support, I had to go through AKG separately to assist and RMA. It took weeks for Samsung to tell me this. 7) Mine broke within weeks of light use.

Reasonable Clarity, Low Bass

nimo15gt 3/13/2019

I can tell that these are better than my $30 earbuds, build quality is far better. The clarity is hit or miss, some songs are great and crisp, others sound pretty close to those skullcandy $30 earbuds (still sound better). In all honesty, I was hoping for a massive difference, a totally new experience, that's not what happened. There's still that something that lets me know these are just earbuds. They are remarkably loud and decently clear at high volumes. The bass is quite underwhelming, but does have that rich tone you'd expect. With rewards, I purchased these for just over $60 and that's about what they're worth. Bluetooth connects to the last device it was connected to as long as the bt is on on the device, that's easy, but inconvenient if you broke the screen on your iPad and can't turn it off (the bt or the ipad) and are trying to connect to your phone. Battery life goes from 8 down to about 4 hours and fairly high volume, so pretty good. Never fell out of my ear once, hard to even accidentally yank out, all while not being terribly uncomfortable. The unboxing was quite a nice experience, cleaning tool, padded, fancy box, etc. It really got my hopes up for a great listening experience, again, not as great as I had hoped. For those complaining about not knowing the battery life, iPad shows me on the status bar at the top, my Samsung Galaxy J7 Crown shows me a little message at the bottom of the screen when they are connected, just don't touch the screen. That doesn't always happen though, but I blame the devices for not showing us what the battery life is of the connected bt device. All this being said, my $199 samaung HW K450 300w 2.1 channel soundbar (low price for a stereo) knocks the socks off of these. In all honesty $159 is ridiculous, these aren't worth that for sure, but they're worth using a few rewards points for and getting half price or less.

Good sound poor build and terrible Bluetooth stack

SteveBorough 3/7/2019

Sound Quality is decent however they started malfunctioning after a few weeks. Loud static from the right side and will turn off with a slight jostle. The USB ccharging flap hasnt closed shut since the 1st time i opened it. The Bluetooth stack used doesnt allow for more than a single device to be paired to the headphones. Save your money, 100% not worth $150, maybe $29.

Great sound quality, but not so great design

Nandakumar 2/26/2019

I bought this bluetooth wireless earbuds few months back and I was amazed with the excellent sound quality. The bass and details are great, but its not that much comfortable using it for long time. It either drops off from my ears or it is little uncomfortable after 20 minutes or so. Also, the untangling cable is not so comfortable if it touches the skin on the neck. If Samsung/AKG can address these design issues, its far more better that any leading wireless earbuds in the market.

Excellent clarity and bass

Amy_H 12/26/2018

I had the wired AKG earbuds that came stock with my Galaxy S8 and loved the sound of those so I took a chance with these. These surpass the sound of the wired earbuds. I am very pleased with the clarity and sound.

Good Sound, Poor Design!

Lar5656 12/10/2018

Sound is descent, very clear but no bass! Earbuds are heavy and fall out of my ears all the time, there is no way to secure them unless embed deep into ear canal (which is very uncomfortable and even painful). Pairs easily to bluetooth devices, looks and feels premium including packaging. There is no app so you cannot play with sound settings or see battery level. Overall I consider it premium product with a fatal design flaw as you cannot move around with them (they fall off).

Good, not great audio.

vdubb2 12/9/2018

The headset provides good audio quality. The control buttons are not very user friendly. Doesn't seem to answer calls by pressing the designated button. They also lack the feature of connecting and disconnecting when the magnets are together or seperated. That's a feature that i enjoyed with the level U and level U Pro.

Problematic

sun_jack 12/7/2018

I got this new N200. Initial impression is very good. Nice sound and easy to pair with IPhone. I have been very careful about this. However yesterday, the left ear piece was not working. Tried several ways and it seemed it would need warranty. I only used about less than 10 times. Very bad quality.

Horrible sound

Leni19 12/5/2018

These headphones are horrible. I was very excited to receive them quickly but disappointed the same day. They are very heavy buds and fall out just from bending sitting on the couch. Audio- The music is very loud as if it's screaming with no bass. The original headphones that come with the Samsung have better sound quality. AKG headphones are usually better so I was very disappointed with these. Will be returning and do not recommend.

Simple!

RGOD 11/29/2018

First time I've every reviewed a product. I have three pairs or headphones. Power Beats 3 Bose sport And the AKG N200 All of which was purchased with some kind of sale or the other, so I'm not going to talk about price here. I'm going to give from my perpestive about sound and quality of sound. Power Beats3 have great base and can get loud and that's it, it gets loud almost like if you hear someone screaming at the top of their lungs. Bose sport, hmmmm one word, suck! AKG N200. Is by far beats the others when it comes to astecits, light weight, tangle free cord and most of all quality of sound. I suggest that you adjust the eq settings for what ever music app that you're using and you'll be blown away. Spotify gives you a bit more manual controls and that is what works even better with these headphones.
